SpacePirate: Age of Rust the Ultimate RPG Game

Let’s start this review by outlining the fact that I’m one of those gamers who are absolutely into dark, adventure role-playing game. I obviously have been playing RPG, sci-fi type of game from the very beginning. One thing for sure, due to the number of dark adventure role-playing game I have played over the years, I find it difficult to get excited about game of the same concept. The fact that I am very particular about the games that I play does not make it any easier either, the result? I have not gotten excited about new games, nor have I given any of the new ones a try. When there was a new dark RPG game being rolled out, I would simply look up what it was about; from the storyline and the features it had, and that was it. Most of the time they weren’t interesting enough.

But that changed when a friend of mine brought up the SpacePirate: Age of Rust during our conversation about Blockchain. I bet you are now questioning what Blockchain has to do with the game, the answer is: a lot. SpacePirate: Age of Rust may not be the first or only game that has built its gaming system on this robust platform, but it offers something that sets the game apart of its competitors in the industry.
In terms of the game, for instance. Like any other RPG game, this game also offers a myriad of characters to play. The freedom to choose the character that is suitable to your needs is definitely not the only freedom you have in the game as it gives you the opportunity to do whatever you want and be whatever you want to – a fighter or an explorer, the villain or the hero. Yes, you can do the basic storyline such as taking over a base and an empire or claiming bounties that belong to others’ ships (even your own friends’!) for your own personal gain, but if that does not entice you, you can wander and explore the intergalactic universe and help other players. That’s it? Of course not.

Built on the Blockchain platform means fair gameplay is the absolute norm in the SpacePirate: Age of Rust. The only way to advance in the game and win it is by using your brain to solve puzzles, experience to know when to defend and attack, and sheer luck to find the hidden treasures. Incredible, isn’t it?
